Work & Research

I am a PhD student at KoƧ University in Istanbul, where I focus my research on collaboration in VR. I organize VR focus groups, workshop, and professional events of various types and study how different immersive platforms are utilized and how their respective design choices affect how people work together.

Prior to my PhD studies, I founded Raptor Dance Studios to facilitate my projects and consulting work. It is important for me and for my academic work that I continue to work actively in the industry and closely with peers in the global XR community. I am active in the XR Crowd community and organize the #ZeroEvents series of multiuser XR platform explorations. I also founded Euromersive Turkey to help support the development of the Turkish XR industry.
